Lucile Soufflet
An attentive observer of the social behavior and material elements of our daily environment, Lucile directs her work in a very personal way, creating disconcerting objects and furnishings.
Winner of the Young artist award in Belgium with her public furniture "le banc qui attend”, Lucile’s project "Up & Down" received both the Discovery award and the Innovation award at the international design salon Maison & Objet, Paris.
Her objects are also part of the permenant collection of the Ceramics National museum of Sevres, France and the Royal Museum of Mariemont in Belgium.
Currently teaching and designing in La Cambre, Lucile devotes much of her skill to rethinking and reformulating furniture for public and private spaces, as well as smaller domestic objects. The individual, the playful and the relational side of things have an important role in her work. Lucile is available for commissioned work, ask us for her complete portfolio.
