Pitaya
Pitaya was founded in 2003 by two « craftsmen » designers, David Lesort and Arnaud Giroud who met during their Art and Design Studies.
This duo from Lyon, France enjoys exploring a variety of design fields including food design and most notably lighting. To each endeavor they bring their personal style which is both playful and poetic.
Since 2006, light has played a special part in their work, and their bright ideas for luminous objects and street light installations have been particularly well recieved. Pitaya's original and innovative concepts and products have been presented at the Fête des Lumières in Lyon and Arbres et Lumières in Geneva ammong others.
